Flatland Without Birds?

In order to satisfy the requests from exclusive European restaurants, every year, the poachers across Europe and the Middle East kill millions of birds.

Milan Ružić and other members of the Society for the Protection and Study of Serbian Birds, don’t like this gourmet habit, which drastically influences the growth of poachers in Serbia.

According to the ornithologist data, the poaching is particularly spread in Vojvodina, because the streams of large rivers (Danube, Tisza and Sava) represent the ideal natural nutrition and resting place. Ornithologists claim that poaching is one of the key reasons why there are fewer birds in Vojvodina. Since the systemic reaction of the state was absent, Milan and members of the Society decided to oppose this and to make the competent state institutions act by law.
